Cotton, Linen Bedding - Machine wash with a minimum amount of mild laundry soap. Wash in cold water. Do not bleach or use detergents with optical brighteners. Do not use Woolite, Persil or similar additives. Launder whites separately from other items in a moderate size load. Never wash whites with colours or fuzzy textiles that lint or pill, such as towels or cotton flannel. Tumble dry on gentle setting at low heat. Do not over dry. Use wool dryer balls instead of chemically laden dryer sheets.
Blankets/Accessories - Machine wash with a minimum amount of mild laundry soap. Wash in cold water. Do not bleach or use detergents with optical brighteners. Do not use Woolite, Persil or similar additives. Launder in a small or moderate size load. Tumble dry on gentle setting at low heat. Do not over dry. Fills/Horizontal Mattress Protector(HMP) - Down/feather and wool fill products are best protected by using the appropriate cover (ie. duvet cover, pillowcase, top pad cover, allergy protective case, fitted sheet over HMP, etc..) Covers are much easier to clean than contents. We sell a cover for every down/feather or wool fill product because covers prolong product life. Twice a year hang your fill product outside for some sun and air. Do not launder fills in domestic washing machines; they are usually too small and may contain an agitator that may cause damage. They can however, be refreshed and re-fluffed by tumbling them in the dryer. Choose an ecologically responsible cleaner experienced with down/feather and wool bedding products.
When unpacking a down/feather fill product, give it a few hours relax, to puff back up. It will stay lofty for years.
Headboards/Wall Panels - Dust with a clean non-pilling cloth, or vacuumed lightly with a a soft bristle vacuum head.
